On 18-19 October 2022, a partnership meeting of the Polish beneficiaries of the FM EEA programme with their Norwegian, Icelandic and Liechtenstein partners was held at the POLIN Museum in Warsaw. The beneficiaries of the second and third call for proposals for the Measure no. 2 “Improvement of access to culture and art” met in the capital. Moreover, it was also an opportunity for us to meet with our Norwegian partner – Company B. Valiente, which was represented by Gunhild Bjørnsgaard. The Polish Theatre in Wrocław was represented by Magdalena Wcisło and Patrycja Wróbel.
The subject of the meeting organised by the Department for European Affairs and Funds of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage was: “Bilateral cooperation – effective international partnership”. Thus, the discussed issues were associated with the formal and financial aspects, as well as effective communication in the scope of this project. Furthermore, it was also an opportunity to get acquainted with 2 other projects: the project of the Gdańsk Shakespeare Theatre in partnership with the Icelandic artistic collective Vinnslan (https://www.facebook.com/Vinnslan/) and the project of the Municipal Culture Centre in Lądek in partnership with DanceLab (https://www.facebook.com/dancelab.no) – which put great emphasis on the audience’s involvement and responded to their needs. This meeting became a pretext for making new friends, as well as exchanging experiences – very significant components in such cooperation. Due to the possibility of talking in smaller groups, we could discuss problem solving in this regard. Moreover, the participants expressed a great need to maintain contact and inform each other about the implemented activities, and this is conducive to inspiration and strengthening of cooperation.
