Polish Theatre in Wrocław invites the citizens of Ukraine and persons of Ukrainian origin to participate in the theatre workshops, which will take place on the weekend of 6-8 May 2022 as part of the “Including Minority” project.
The workshops will be run by an experienced Italian director Gianluca Iumiento. In an atmosphere of trust and openness, we will try to understand your stories associated with immigration and integration, as well as jointly discover culture and tradition of Ukraine.
The participation in these workshops is free of charge. Furthermore, no previous theatrical or artistic experience is required and we provide language assistance during the workshops.
The workshops will be held on Friday evening (6 May), as well as during the day on Saturday and Sunday (7 and 8 May) at the Świebodzki Stage. Limited number of participants!
Moreover, after the workshops, the director will invite 4 persons to participate in subsequent part of the project – professional play, and the rehearsals for this play will start at the Polish Theatre at the end of November 2022.
Furthermore, all participants will be invited to participate in our subsequent activities associated with the World Day for Cultural Diversity, which we are planning for May 2023
The workshops constitute a part of the “Including Minority” project implemented from the EEA Grants.

The “Including Minority – włączyć mniejszość. Theatre project, implemented in a Polish-Norwegian partnership with participation of the Ukrainian minority in Poland and the Polish minority in Norway”, benefits from a 343 000 € (1.5 million PLN) from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants. The aim of this project is to develop cultural cooperation between the creators and participants of cultural life of the Polish Theatre in Wrocław and the COMPANY B. VALIENTE theatre from Oslo, which will translate into the strengthening of bilateral relations between Polish and Norwegian cultural institutions.
